This March is shaping up to be one to remember! We have usually completed our trips by now but with this winter being colder than normal the fish have not made in into the bay yet. Yesterday, the schools of stripers were still to our South into North Carolina territory and have been progressing to the North slowly. Water surface temps have risen triggering the migration to begin. Look for the fish to continue their journey to the North, feeding on everything in site! They are finding these baitfish that have been along the beachfront now and it is GAME ON!.
Their is still time to get in on some of the years best fishing. Short runs from the inlet, warm spring temps, and less boat pressure. We will be on the scene until the very last day of the 31st.
We have the following openings available for charter: 17th, 23rd, 24th, 25th, 28th, 29th, 30th and 31st.
I have one personal goal before the years is out. i want to break the boat record of this 56 pounder caught by Henry Wilson shown in the photo above. I have caught many in the 50 pound range, I WANT A 60 PLUS POUNDER! Lets get him! |
