OFFSHORE- Tuna, Tuna, and more tuna. The yellowfin tuna fishing has been the best we have seen in years! Bluefin, gaffer Dolphin and a few Bigeyes have also graced us with their presence. A few billfish have also started to show East of the Norfolk Canyon. It doesnt get any better!
DEEP DROPPING- Still producing loads of Blueline Tilefish,(tons of citation class) and Sea Bass in the 50 fathom range. Those wishing to crank in the deeper waters are hanging Rosefish, Golden tiles, Grouper, & Wreckfish.
INSHORE- Spanish Mackerel and Spadefish continue to be the hot items right now. We are running a bunch of these inshore trips and are doing extremely well on either species. The Spanish will be a staple here all summer but look for the Spade fishing action to start slowing a bit.
Amberjack and cobia are also being caught on most of the inshore wrecks. What a ton of fun on spinning gear!
Summer is in full swing and so are the fish. Inshore and offshore offer some great fishing and fun for your group. Give us a call at 804 725 6288 to get your trip in the books. |
