The past 3 days have produced some outstanding fishing. We have had to put in a little more time searching but its a ton of fun when you find it.

The mother load!! Phelps Day2 1-09-10
Now this was the real deal! Donnie, Ronnie and the boys from Winchester Metals on board for Day 2. We went to the South quite a ways this morning before finding the mega load of big bass. This was some of the best fishing we have had this season. You just couldnt get them in the water before they gobbled the shad..Rank as I have seen it in awhile. Doubleheaders on every pole. A beautiful class of fish today Averaging in the mid 30 pound class. Our biggest was nearly 41 pounds earning our crew another citation. Thanks guys, the long ride was worth every minute!

Phelps trip Day 1 1-08-10
Not a bad day for Donnie, Ronnie, and the gang. We rode for a long time this morning trying to find the mother load to no avail. We settled in on a few bait marks and picked out a catch but it was pretty plain that the fish were not on a big feed today. The tournament boats got on a hug bite wayyyyy down South. Stay tuned for Day 2. Im going to that deal and see what we can do! Thanks guys, I promise we will not settle for a pluck tomorrow!!!


1-7-10 Fishing center make-up trip.. Good Fishing
A great group of guys assembled as a make-up trip from the Fishing Center. From Florida and Tennessee these fine folks traveled to Va Beach to get in on some striper action. It took awhile to find the meat this morning but we found it and pulled out a limit of decent fish before the half day buzzer sounded. Nice having you fine folks aboard. Thank you.
